Hanford Man is not feeling up to the task today.

This is from a collection called Hanford Man. In the early days of the Hanford Nuclear Reactor project radiation dust was killing people. So they devised an inflated plastic suit to be worn in areas where radioactive dust was present.

Aside from the creepy ghostly quality this suit offers its wearer, I think these images offer a self reflection into our own monotonous lives. Hanford Man is a self reflection of situations no one really wants but we sometimes find ourselves facing.

The Hanford Man series is currently hanging at Ghost Gallery on Capitol Hill in Seattle
